HYDERABAD: You know that feeling when you just know you are near the sea by the change in the atmosphere and the subtle but prominent sound of waves crashing? That was how it was for anyone entering  Satya Sai Nigamagamam where the Cycle Agarbathi’s Cycle heritage quiz was held this weekend.

The quiz had students from 75 schools participating out of which six schools were selected for the final round. The schools that went into the finals were Gitanajali Devishala, All Saints high school, Hyderabad Public School, St. Alphosas high school, Slate school and Brahmam high school. The first prize went to Pratuesh Dall and Srinivas Chandu from Hyderabad Public School.

Talking about the event, the chief guest, actor Suman said, “The quiz is solely focused on India and its heritage and sitting there I realised how less I know about our traditions or history. I also appreciate the students’ enthusiasm.”
