Ahead of the release of Yamaleela 2, comedian Brahmanandam, who plays the role of Chitragupta, the same he essayed in Yamaleela 1, in 1994, says the movie is a total entertainer

HYDERABAD:Another family entertainer that is going to release world wide tomorrow is Yamaleela 2, directed by SV Krishna Reddy. The story that tracks the journey of Lord Yama on earth, played by Mohan Babu along with Brahmanandam as Chitragupta by his side is sure to entertain audience according to the comedy king himself. The comedian played the same role in Yamaleela that released 20 years ago.

“We are all familiar with the level of success that Yamaleela received 20 years ago. Yamaleela 2, that introduces newcomer KV Satish in the direction of SV Krishna Reddy is also a complete entertainer. The amount of hard work  put in by the director is worth a mention, and the entire film will have you in fits of laughter. You will also see a touch of the director’s signature, sentiment,” informs the comedian.

Pointing out the role of Yama Dharma Raju played by veteran actor Satyanarayana, he says, “Collection king Mohan Babu has essayed the role of Yama Dharma Raju in this film and he has done a commendable job. He played the same role in NTR Jr’s Yamadonga and did an outstanding job. This is an asset to the film.”

He is also very happy about his character and the chemistry between Mohan Babu and himself.

The Padmashri awardee also has praises for the technical aspects of the film. “They have spent a lot of money on getting the graphics right and this is also one thing that the audience will look out for,” he opines adding that the SV Krishna Reddy’s music is soothing for the ear.

The 58-year-old comedian is also impressed with newcomers, KV Satish and Diah Nicolas who play the male and female leads. “On screen it seems like they are made for each other. Also, comedy scenes between Shiyaji Shinde and Ashish Vidhyarthi are very enjoyable,” he shares.

The movie also stars Gabbar Singh’s villain gang. “That segment is going to entertain the audience,” says the actor who is confident that the movie will entertain audience to the core.

The movie also stars Kota Srinivas Rao, Rao Ramesh, Posani Murali Krishna, MS Narayana and Ali in important roles.
