HYDERABAD: Over the years, people are increasingly moving towards organic products with stores cropping up in the city dedicated solely to them. However, for those who have busy schedules and find it difficult to go to a physical store; is a one-stop online marketplace for all your organic products requirements.

“Hyderabad has shown a very encouraging response for organics. Almost 30 per cent of our repeat customers are specifically from Hyderabad. And this has been the response since the beginning. This is the reason that we are also coming up with a dedicated local e-commerce website for organics in Hyderabad for the people in the city,” says Manuj Terapanthi, founder and CEO,

How does one ensure that what they buy is actually organic? “There are 17 government accredited certification industries in India who extend support and critically examines the products that claim that they are organic. Not just the end product, but there are also processes laid down to certify the farms, the process of growing/producing organically. Only the brands that are certified organic by these agencies in India are there on our website which is a big advantage for today. Transparency is the core USP of Organic Shop,” he explains.

The company has a vision to spread awareness about the goodness of organic products to the remotest areas in the country as well. “The most popular category on OrganicShop is food but cosmetics is emerging to become quite decently popular in India thanks to the increasing awareness about harmful chemicals and their serious side-effects that are there in the conventional cosmetics especially the red lipstick. Baby products are also picking up and has great potential to pick up in 2015,” says Terapanthi, who believes keeping our health intact is only way to keep our future generations healthy, fit and in the best of the environment.
