HYDERABAD: The Telangana government will fill 325 posts of civil assistant surgeon on contract basis. Orders to this effect were issued on Wednesday. The contract period would be one year.
While filling the vacancies, previously terminated doctors, if any, will be given preference, taking their seniority and performance into consideration, the order said.
A Committee headed by the district collector, with DM&HO and DCHS as members, will fill the vacancies as per rules, including the rule of reservation.
The vacancies were initially filled for a period of one year and are liable to be terminated even before that as and when the regular candidate returns for duty or on grounds of poor performance or for any other reason, the order said.
