HYDERABAD: The High Court on Friday directed the police inspector of Pahadi Shareef to be present in the court on September 9 to explain the reasons for his inaction in a case that charged him with illegal detention of one Taleb Bin Mohammad Dayani, an alleged member of the snake gang.
Dayani’s mother Soghra Hussain filed the plea charging the police with illegally detaining her son.
She said a large police contingent had raided her house at Errakunta in Kothapet in Ranga Reddy district two weeks ago and took away her son. She sought her son’s immediate release as the illegal detention would mar his career. she also sought compensation. Earlier, the court had directed the inspector to file his reply but when the matter came up.
