HYDERABAD: The Forum For Good Governance has criticised the state government for the tardy progress on the project initiated for supply of Godavari water to the city for drinking purpose.
Releasing a white paper here on Friday, forum secretary Padmanabha Reddy said Rs 2,093 crore had been spent in the last seven years on the project aimed at channelling water to the city from the Pranahita-Chevella lift irrigation canal but not even 40 pc work was completed.
