SCR Helpline from October 2 to Take Complaints

HYDERABAD: With a view to strengthening the security of passengers travelling in trains and at stations, the South Central Railway will open a dedicated four-digit, 24X7, Passenger Security Helpline Number, 1322,  from October 2.

This Helpline will provide speedy assistance to passengers within SCR jurisdiction in the event of theft of luggage/valuables, pick-pocketing, harassment by co-passengers and unauthorised passengers travelling in  coaches reserved for women and physically challenged persons or any other criminal incident.

This helpline will automatically forward the call of the complainant to the Zonal Security Control Room of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the complainant will be apprised of the action taken.

Trains Restored: The following trains, which were cancelled due to operational works at Kazipet on September 27 and 28, have been restored to run as per normal schedule.

The are 57625 Secunderabad-Manuguru Kakatiya Passenger,  57626 Manuguru-Secunderabad Kakatiya Passenger and 57136 Kazipet-Ajni Passenger.
