HYDERABAD:Justice Raja Elango of the Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday dismissed the bail petition of P Obulesu, former police constable who is accused of attempting to kidnap K Nityananda Reddy, vice-chairman of Aurobindo Pharma.
Obulesu had opened fire at Nityananda Reddy while the latter was returning from morning walk at the KBR Park in November last.
Additional public prosecutor D Rami Reddy opposed the bail petition saying that the accused was involved in several offences and had attempted to kill the victim by opening fire.
