To begin your day with positive energy, take away all the negativity that you have in and around you. This will also help you know yourself and grow in life
Satiate Your Physical Needs

Recently I got an opportunity to have a personal interaction with Mahartia, founder of Infinitheism. During our conversation, he told me about the importance of having balance between materialism and spirituality and why is it necessary for every good human being to be rich! He also emphasised that we should value and love ourself.

This is one of the real life examples wherein an evolved soul like him feels that the physical and materialistic needs too should be addressed. Acknowledging them and taking actions to satiate these physical needs aids our spiritual quest.

Often prosperity and being rich are considered to be materialistic qualities which hamper the spiritual path and self-knowledge. But, in reality, it is neither of them that affect us. It is our attachment to those qualities which becomes a hurdle towards our evolution. The moment we acknowledge these needs, leave the attachments we have towards them, they become the supportive infrastructure in our path of evolution.

Clinging to anything means not leaving any room for something better to enter our life. It makes us stagnant. We have to break this bondage to be able to grow. How do we do that?

One of the simplest exercise I have learnt from Louise Hay’s work is to go and clean your closet. Dispose all the clothes you don’t need anymore. This way symbolically you are making space for new stuff in your closet. This is one step towards being open and receiving everything that is good from the universe.

Say ‘I am open and will receive every good thing that comes to me’ with your arms open thrice every morning and you could be prepared to let universe manifest all the goodness needed in your life. This can be a powerful affirmation you can begin your days with.

And doesn’t living life to its fullest mean exploring ourself in every way? Interestingly, many spiritual practices focus on knowing all our dimensions with a holistic approach. Once we have explored ourself to the fullest, there is no more craving or attachment left and then we can follow what appeals to us naturally. So go ahead and explore what appeals to you.
