Is Money My Friend?

Move away from poverty thinking and make positive daily affirmations to attarct the universe to give you money and prosperity

Few days back I met someone who just kept talking about “how bad the market is and that there’s no money in the market, etc.” Interestingly, statements like these are also your thoughts and the thoughts are your affirmations. By saying or having such thoughts you are signaling it to the Universe and “lack of Money” which is what the universe will give you in return!

We grow up hearing statements like “there is cut throat competition” , “money is very difficult to earn”, “he/she is filthy rich”. All these thoughts are nothing  but ‘poverty thinking’.

It is true that there are so many people who die of hunger but this is not because of lack of food. We waste a lot of food, burn crops to keep the prices high! It is not the lack of food but our fears, insecurity and lack of compassion for others due to which people are starving. It is interesting how people respond when their money beliefs are pushed. What do you feel when you are paying your bills? Bills show that someone has trusted you and given you a service knowing you will pay for it. If you crib over and say “I have to pay so much money”, “the bills are so high”, you are conveying to the Universe your inability in being able to do so  and this attracting more such situations where you have to make payments.

There were times when my colleagues felt that I’m being over paid, that I hardly work and get such a huge salary. They though this because I always showed them that my work is fun for me. Feelings or thoughts that “money is not easy to earn” reflects a block in the consciousness of the person. A person with a clear consciousness knows that one can easily earn money.

One of my inspirations has been a ‘chai wala’ in Jaisalmer town. His tea costs Rs 10 per cup and on an average he sells 1,700-2,000 cups per day from 6 am. Yes, that’s how much he earns everyday!

Closer home, the very famous Ram ki Bandi, ever wondered what has made him successful? Think about it. One of the simple exercises I have learnt is look at yourself in the mirror and ask, “What is my belief about the money?” Notice what comes up and best is to write down that feeling. This will help you know your limiting belief – the block between you and money. Then make an affirmation. For instance, if you are in a job which doesn’t make you feel happy, make an affirmation “I’m in a Job which I enjoy doing and is giving me the money I want.” Another powerful thought is, “My income is constantly increasing, I’m moving from poverty thinking to prosperity thinking” and “This life is for me.”

Saying these affirmations daily and several other learning from Louise Hay has tremendously helped me in rewiring my own thoughts about money and prosperity. And I’m grateful to my mentors and friends who have been with me during this learning process and taught me lessons about money and prosperity. So enjoy becoming and being RICH!
