HYDERABAD:A man was arrested on Saturday in connection with ‘stealing’ and ‘uploading’ of video clips of upcoming Tollywood film ‘Bahubali’. BVVLN Varma, ex-employee in Makuta Visual Effects (P) Ltd, who worked as IT manager in the company, which is doing visual effects for the movie ‘Bahubali’ was arrested, police said.
While working there, he had some disputes with the company hence he was terminated. As such for taking revenge and to damage the reputation of the company, he stole the data (war clips) and circulated to his relatives and friends, committing breach of trust and cheating, and other offences under Copyright Act and IT Act 2008.
