ISB Centre for Family Enterprises

HYDERABAD: Sensing a need to nurture family businesses in the country, the Indian School of Business (ISB),  is setting up a dedicated Centre for Family Enterprises.

This will be over and above ISB’s existing chair on Family Business and Wealth Management.

To be inaugurated on February  7, the new initiative will offer research and training programmes for family-run businesses and will undertake case studies of how some family run businesses grow stronger after generation changes, said Ajit Rangnekar, Dean, ISB.

The programme will have ‘Continuity of Family Businesses across Generations,’ as its core theme besides sub-themes like leadership challenges in building large businesses, building family bonding, managing succession, next generation grooming and building family and businesses as institutions.
