HYDERABAD:Stating that SHE teams were formed to curb atrocities and eve-teasing against woman and girls, DCP Malkajgiri and nodal officer of Cyberabad SHE teams Rama Rajeswari R on Saturday reiterated that the SHE teams would not hesitate to take action against male students if they are involved in eve teasing on college campuses and other places.
To bring awareness on the functioning of SHE teams, a seminar on “Youth role in the present society” was organised here on Saturday.
As many as 400 girl and boy students from Sri Chaithanya Jr College, Pragathi Jr College, Hyndavi Degree College, Omega Degree College, Sri Gayathri Jr College, Sri Medha Jr College, Gowthami Jr College and New Chaithanya Jr College participated.
Addressing the seminar, Rama Rajeswari said that SHE teams would be deployed in selected congested places to identify the miscreants who involve in eve-teasing.
