MLC Poll Rescheduled for Inter Exam

HYDERABAD: With the biennial elections to Legislative Council from the Graduates constituency coinciding with the Intermediate public examinations, the Election Commission has rescheduled the date of polling and counting.

Earlier, it was decided to conduct the election on March 16.

As per the reschedule, polling will be held on March 22 from 8 am to 4 pm and counting of votes on March 25 from 8 am.

However, the last day for filing nominations (Feb 26), scrutiny of nominations (Feb 27) and withdrawal of candidature (March 2) remains unchanged., according to a release issued here on Tuesday.
