HYDERABAD: In a major step to operationalise Singareni Thermal Power Project, Singareni Collieries (SCCL) chairman and managing director N Sridhar will launch the boiler light-up system at its first unit on Saturday.
As part of this, the Singareni Thermal Power Project began its boiler erection works in Feb 2013, a press release from the SCCL said.
The achievement of synergy between 132 KV switch yard works, station axillery cooling water system and similar 13 different works has facilitated the boiler-light up. The boiler-up for the second unit will begin in August of this year. Sridhar exuded confidence that all related works of the Singareni Thermal Power Project would finish as planned.
