HYDERABAD:Fair price shop dealers can now get the Release Orders (RO) for commodities allotted to them, from Mee Seva centres by remitting the fee, instead of going to banks and tahsildar office. The RO can be taken to mandal level stock points to collect their allotment. An online system introducing the new process was launched by Bharathi Hollikeri, chief rationing officer (CRO) , here on Tuesday. This system will be implemented through out Telangana State from July 21.
Before, the dealers had to remit the amount through banks by taking a demand draft (DD) and produce the DD at tahsildar office to get the RO, which will be taken to Mandal Stock points (MLS).In the new system introduced by TS government, Mee Seva centres will receive allotment order for the dealers and payment can be made there.
