Raw Sponges
Pick a raw sponge or an old make up sponge and cut it into a small piece equal to size of the nail you wish to colour. Now create pool of colors on it and paste it on your nail to create an Ombre nails or to get multi-colored speckled finish.
Glitters and Sparkles
Glitter consists of minuscule of stone, plastic, glass, gifts wraps or polyester and some may include commercial grade diamond dust. They add sparkling effect to your design and make it beautifully attractive. You don’t have to buy shiners for this. You can either add dust or glitter in your base colors or can sprinkle the glitter on your wet nail paint.
Foils
You can use foils for amazing prints they are fantastic an easy to use. Place a foil on top of a polished nail with nail art adhesive and then finish it along with a shiner or plain gel top coat to make it better.
Bullion Beads
These are also known as sprinkle beads. They are small metallic beads used to embellish any nail art design. Generally used to give a 3D look. Always seal it with a top coat. Though it is time consuming, but is definitely worth the time.
Decals and rhinestones
They are available in different sizes, colors and shapes and will add glamour to your nail designs. You can use bindis as a substitute. You can use your creativity to the infinity by adding shinny stones, animated stickers, shimmery and floral print etc., along with the decals. The variety is countless and the work is effortless here.
Striping Belts/Tapes
These tapes come in many colors and textures. They are thin and add metallic lines to your design which gives a look of wearing a sleek belt on a dress. They look unique and add elegance to your design. If not available take one sparkle tape and cut it in a thin line and paste it on dry polished nail to give a same look.
