HYDERABAD:The State government issued orders on Saturday banning the employment of retired personnel as officer-on-special-duty, consultants and advisors to various departments in the State Secretraiat.
“These appointments are hampering the promotion avenues of regular employees and preventing them from learning work and gaining experience in some focal areas,” the orders read.
It further directed the heads of departments to critically review and examine if there was a need to continue retired personnel in the said posts.
