HYDERABAD:The Hyderabad High Court has granted a stay on dispossession and demolition of a building owned by M/s Transstroy (India) Limited at Jubilee Hills in the city.
Justice S V Bhatt was dealing with a petition filed by the company challenging the bid of the land acquisition officer of the Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd to acquire its building.
The counsel said his client had raised specific objections before the LAO contending that the entire acquisition proceedings under the old Act were bad in law and no acquisition could be initiated under the New Act.
