Spl Trains to Vizag, Kakinada

HYDERABAD:In order to clear extra rush of passengers due to RTC strike, the South Central Railway will run special trains.

Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Tatkal special train will depart from Visakhapatnam at 16:45 hrs o­n May 8 and 10 and arrive in Secunderabad at 05:30 hrs the next day. 

In the return direction, the train will depart from Secunderabad at 21:40 hrs o­n May 9 and 11 and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 10:25 hrs the next day.

 Enroute these trians will  stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada etc.

   Kakinada Port-Hyderabad special train will depart from Kakinada Port at 15:30 hrs o­n May 7 and arrive in Hyderabad at 05:15 hrs.

Additional Coaches: As many as 24 additional coaches have been attached to several trains originating from the twin cities on Wednesday providing 1,600 additional berths and seats. The SCR ran two special trains on Wednesday night.

The state government has conducted a meeting to review the transport situation in view of the RTC strike.

Siva Prasad, chief passenger traffic manager, SCR, attended the meeting to appraise the efforts being made to clear the extra rush of passengers.
