Spl Trains To Clear Summer Rush

HYDERABAD: The South Central Railway (SCR) will run two AC double decker special trains between Kacheguda and Vijayawada to clear extra rush of passengers during summer season.

Train 02118, Kacheguda-Vijayawada AC double decker special train will depart from Kacheguda at 6:45 am on May 11 (Monday) and arrive at Vijayawada at 1:10 pm on the same day.

On its return journey, 02117 Vijayawada-Kacheguda AC double decker special train will depart from Vijayawada at 2:45 pm on May 11 and arrive at Kacheguda at 9:10 pm on the same day.

En route, this special train will stop at Malkajgiri, Bhongir, Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Dornakal, Khammam and Madhira stations in both directions. This train will have 10 AC coaches and two power generator cars.

In order to clear extra rush of passengers due to RTC strike, SCR will run special trains between Kakinada Port-Vijayawada, Tirupati-Kacheguda, Vijayawada-Tirupati, Tirupati-Visakhapatnam from Saturday.

Kakinada Port-Vijayawada special train will depart from Kakinada Port at 22:00 hrs on Saturday and arrive in Vijayawada at 03:00 hrs the next day.

Tirupati-Kacheguda special train will depart from Tirupati at 19:00 hrs on May 10 and arrive in Kacheguda at 07:20 hrs on the next day. In the opposite direction, the train will depart from Kacheguda at 11:30 hrs on May 11 and arrive in Tirupati at 22:40 hrs on the same day.

Vijayawada-Tirupati special train will depart from Vijayawada at 14:30 hrs on May 10 and 13 and arrive in Tirupati at 09:00 hrs on the next day.

Tirupati-Visakhapatnam special train will depart from Tirupati at 11:05 hrs on May 11 and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 09:00 hrs on the next day.
