With security being a concern even in gated communities, ApartmentADDA has launched Gatekeeper App that allows security guards to register visitor details as well as people movement in the complex via tablets/devices. Users can shift the process of offline visitor tracking to online and the app can also work offline. Visitor’s name, contact number, car number along with special notes can be captured. Whenever the device is connected to the Internet, with just one click, the entire day’s data is synchronized to the registered apartment complex and it can also be saved in excel format. In housing societies with wi-fi facilities, flat owners will receive a special note whenever any visitor is visiting at their place.

BitTorrent’s Bleep is a lot like other chat apps out there, except for one major feature called Whisper. Unlike the app Whisper, which revels in anonymity, this is still like a normal chat, but as soon as a message is seen, it’s blurred out on your screen. When the ‘whisper’ setting is activated, all messages and pictures that are sent in this mode disappear from devices after they’ve been viewed for approximately 25 seconds. The setting is also available on PCs and Macs. Need to send some embarrassing tidbit of info but don’t like it having a long digital memory, then just send as a whisper. Pretty convenient if you’ve got a lot of secrets to keep.
