HYDERABAD: The inaugural function commemorating one year of Telangana State’s formation will be held here at the Parade Grounds at 9 am on June 2. Chief Secretary Rajeev Sharma interacted with collectors of all districts in the State at the Secretariat here on Wednesday, regarding the status of arrangements for the week-long State Formation Day celebrations.
The Chief Secretary directed the collectors to begin the celebrations by hoisting the National Flag at their respective district headquarters at 9 am.
Various tableaux highlighting the various flagship programmes of the government will be the main attraction during the celebrations at the Parade Grounds. All historically important sites and buildings in the State will be illuminated with artificial lights.
