Threat Letter to AP CM, a Hoax

HYDERABAD: Disputes between two brothers over land issues in Adilabad district of Telangana led one of them to write a letter threatening to ‘target’ AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu with bomb blasts in Visakhapatnam airport sending the official machinery into a tizzy.

The man, with an intention to land his brother in trouble, had written the letter in his sibling’s name. Police said he had played a similar mischief in the past.Airport officials received the threat letter and alerted the Visakhapatnam police who examined the letter which informed that they had planted powerful explosive material in all airports in AP, including Visakhapatnam airport, to target the Chief Minister. The AP police conducted checks at airports and important places with dog and bomb disposal squads.
