Warangal Youth Dies in a Road Accident in Australia

The deceased N Chakravarthula Sreevatsanka was on his way to Durga Puja celebrations on the outskirts of Sydney along with a friend.

HYDERABAD/WARANGAL:A 24-year-old man hailing from Hanamkonda in Warangal, died in a road crash on the outskirts of Sydney in Australia early Friday morning.

The deceased N Chakravarthula Sreevatsanka was on his way to Durga Puja celebrations on the outskirts of Sydney along with a friend when the car in which they were travelling lost control and crashed on to the side railings. Sreevatsanka died on the spot whereas his friend Koride Sudhir, who hails from Medak, sustained injuries.

Srivatsanka had graduated from Western Sydney University last month after completing a two-year MS in Mechatronics. His family lives in Vidyaranyapuri colony in Hanamkonda.

NVN Chary, Sreevatsanka’s father, an associate professor in Kakatiya Government Degree College in Hanamkonda, said that he was informed about the accident by his son’s friends in the early hours on Friday.

“I am told that it was drizzling when Sudhir and Sreevatsanka started early morning for Durga Puja celebrations on the country side. My son was driving his new car. He lost control and died on the spot in the accident,” said NVN Chary, who at his brother-in-law’s residence at Kothapet in Hyderabad.
