Man Dies of Stroke While Watching Horror Flick

HYDERABAD:  In a shocking incident, a 55-year-old person from Bahadurpura died of heart attack while watching horror-comedy film ‘Raju Gari Gadi’ here on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Amaranatham of Attapur.

He was found lying on his seat after the show was completed. The staff of the theatre tried to wake him up only to realise that he was already dead. While the film was being screened, Amarnatham is said to have walked up to the exit door twice and returned with a change of mind.

Police shifted the body to Osmania hospital  for postmortem. Police inspector Harish Kaushik later visited the house of the  deceased in Attapur and learnt that the deceased was a heart patient. A case of suspicious death under Section 174 of CrPC was registered.  The film ‘Raju Gari Gadi’ is produced and directed by Omkar.
