KHAMMAM:A positive swine flu case is spreading fear among people in the district.
According to officials Banoth Sunil, a field assistant with the NREGS at Konijerla village, has been infected with swine fluand is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad.
Konijerla PHC doctor Shobha said that Sunil’s health condition is good and he is recovering.
He was suffering from fever and on advise of doctors, he was shifted to Khammam headquarters hospital and later to Hyderabad.
Medical and health officials arranged camps and conducted tests and confirmed that all are safe. Health officials also explained to people about taking precautions to avoid swine flu.
It is said that the victim had visited Rajahmundry, Tirupahti and other towns in August and officials are trying to know from where he got affected by the disease.
