No Water Supply on Sept 8 in Parts of City

HYDERABAD:  Due to leakages from the PSC pipeline between Khanapur and Attapur Ring Road, HMWS&SB proposes a 24-hour shutdown  from 6 am on September 8.

Consequently, there will be no water supply in Mehdipatnam, Bhojagutta, Muradnagar, Karwan, Jyothinagar, Omnagar, Sabzimandi, Padmanabhanagar, Allabanda (part), Kakatiyanagar (part), Old Mallepally, Vijaynagar Colony (Part), Golconda, Bapunagar and Ambedkarnagar.

Further, due to junction work on the PSC pipeline to Banjara Hills from the Lingampally reservoir, there will be no water supply to the following areas:

Banjara Hills, Jubillee Hills, Venkatagiri, Thattikhana, Anandnagar Colony, Venkatramana Colony, Premnagar, Somajiguda, BS Maktha, MS Maktha, Methodist Colony, Umanagar, Kundanbagh, Punjagutta, Errum Manzil, Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar, Balkampet, Sanathnagar, Bapunagar, Fathenagar, Ameerpet, Yellareddyguda, Yousufguda, Erragadda, Vengala Rao Nagar, Kalyan Nagar, Madhuranagar, Srinagar Colony, Kamalapuri Colony, Jawaharnagar, part of Borabanda and Siddharth Nagar.

Consumers in the above localities are requested to store sufficient water.
