KCR Leaves for China

HYDERABAD: As he set off on a 10-day tour of China to attract investments to the state, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao briefed top administrators of the state on various issues including that of chalking out contingency measures to tackle drought and providing 24-hour current supply to all sections.

KCR, along with his entourage, left for China on Monday morning from RGIA, Shamshabad. Before leaving, he met senior officials of various departments and also some of his ministerial colleagues.

Speaking on energy department, KCR instructed the Genco Chairman and MD D Prabhakar Rao to see that 24-hour power supply is provided to all sectors. “There are few chances of hydel-power generation. Increase the thermal power plant generation to the maximum,’’ KCR said.
