HYDERABAD:Alleged Islamic State recruiter Afsha Jabeen was nabbed by police here on Thursday night. Jabeen is learnt to have pursued her under graduation at a private college here before marriage.
She is a co-accused in the case registered against Salman Mohiuddin, an engineer who returned from US. Both of them are alleged to have indoctrinated several youth via social media to join IS. Mohiuddin was trying to fly to Syria via Dubai and Turkey to join IS along with Afsha Jabeen. Salman was working as a transportation engineer in Houston. According to investigators, Salman, who is married and has two children, was planning to marry Jabeen in Dubai before proceeding to Syria. He met Jabeen in the US. Together they were supposed to undergo military training in Syria.
