Woman Held for Smuggling Gold at RGIA

HYDERABAD: A woman passenger was arrested while she allegedly tried to smuggle 1.7 kg gold at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Monday night. The burqa-clad woman had arrived at the airport last night on a flight from Abu Dhabi and denied possession of any dutiable/prohibited goods. On suspicion, officials frisked the woman and found 1.7 kg gold concealed in her clothes. Name of the passenger was not revealed.
