It is a campaign launched by Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao titled ‘friendly police.’ It is for everyone who deny approaching police. The civilians still hold the doubt if police can be friendly enough to approach. KCR told corporate companies to come forward and support the police in acquiring technology to make the city safe and secure. Hyderabad police on February 3, launched an app ‘Hawk Eye’ to empower people to protect them at the time of distress. Recently, police behaved in a very surprising manner when Asha workers protested against the government.
This program is being implemented in Karnataka and Delhi. Today, police are making all attempts to change their image. It is of no doubt that it is very soon to comment on this topic. But, will the city police achieve their objective of changing their image in front of the people? Will people approach the police henceforth?
