HYDERABAD: In order to facilitate smooth conduct of IPL matches to be held at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium at Uppal on April 16, 18, 23, 26, 30, and May 6 and 12, Cyberabad police will deploy over 2,000 security personnel at the venue.
Speaking about the security measures taken up in view of the matches, Cyberabad police commissioner CV Anand said elaborate bandobust arrangements are being made for the mega event.
The police department, in coordination with other wings including Security, Traffic, Law & Order, two units of Octopus, five platoons of Armed Forces, SB, CCS staff and two fire tenders will monitor the event.
