Seaplane Tourism to be Launched From April 15

HYDERABAD: After heli-tourism, citizens of Hyderabad and tourists can now enjoy seaplane tourism. The facility will be launched on April 15.

Tourism minister Azmeera Chandulal announced this after a review meeting of the tourism department here on Thursday.

“With the success of heli-tourism from the city, the department is planning to launch seaplane tourism on April 15,” he said.

He also announced that they had plans to launch buses which can run in water and as well as on roads soon.

Chandulal said that Kakatiya Festival would be held in Warangal, Golconda Festival in Hyderabad and Chalukya Festival in Vemulawada in future. He directed the officials to prepare action plans for conducting these festivals.

Perini dance form would be promoted in music and dance colleges in TS, he said. He directed officials to complete Ravindra Bharathi’s renovation March 24.

‘Midway Tourism’ will be launched in Siddipet and Jadcherla. The midway tourist facilities will have restaurants, guest houses, and essential commodities.

For ensuring safety of women tourists, the government would run She cabs, the minister said.
