HYDERABAD: ALL the 34 Thailand women who were rescued from massage parlours located in Madhapur and Gachibowli areas are set to leave for their homeland on Wednesday.
On August 20, Cyberabad police had raided seven spas located in the IT Hub area and rescued 65 women including 34 from Thailand, 21 from north eastern states, one from Punjab and nine from Hyderabad. Police arrested 20 persons including Dasari Siddartha, owner of massage parlours, who has been procuring women to work for him and for indulging in sexual activities.
During the probe, the sleuths of Cyberabad found that Kake, a Thailand national, who had deceived the victims on the pretext of providing jobs, had taken `1 lakh from each woman, telling that they would earn a lot of money by working for Siddartha. “The Thailand nationals were given Rs. 25,000 per month and they used to get a tip of about Rs. 3,000 every day.
The victims had paid `1 lakh to Kake, who is now absconding and is believed to have escaped to Thailand,” said sources in Cyberabad police commissionerate. As the victims were in India on visit visa and were working in coordination with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office at Hyderabad, all the 34 women hailing from Thailand are being sent back.
“The Thailand women will be sent back to their motherland on Wednesday, but further investigation in the case is still going on,” said sources.
