HYDERABAD: The strike called by the outsourcing employees of administrative wing at Gandhi Hospital entered third day.  On Thursday, the employees said that they held Bonam on their heads as a mark of protest.

“Our strike will continue on Friday too. We want our salaries to be hiked,” said B Pradeep, an outsourcing employee. Over 35 employees who are employed as Data Entry Operators (DEO), Data Processing Operators (DPO), have been protesting for the past three days because of which patients are not being discharged, medical tests are not being performed.

Besides this, 48 more employees might join the strike. This will further push patients into discomfort as the employees work as lab technicians, pharmacists, electricians, physiotherapists and perform other jobs.
