HYDERABAD: A realtor from Hyderabad has complained against the sub-inspector of Pet Basheerabad police station alleging highhandedness by using third-degree torture against him, in a civil matter. Cyberabad commissioner of police Sandeep Sandilya directed the senior officials to make an inquiry and take appropriate action.
H Shiva Pradeep complaint that he had given loan to his friend Ravindra Prasad in 2016, and he had given his land documents as surety.
On April 1, he went to meet Prasad to collect first installment of repayment when the SI took him forcibly to the police station and hit him with rubber material. They forced him to give back the land documents.
