The GHMC has initiated special drives on hotels and restaurants keeping in view the prevailing unhygienic conditions in their premises which leads to health hazards.

GHMC commissioner B Janardhan Reddy conducted a meeting with officials of Veterinary wing at GHMC head office. He said there has been good response from citizens about raids and inspection of hotels and restaurants and directed them to take all precautionary measures while conducting inspections and to impose penalty with  transparency.
