City to have traffic curbs for Pinkathon today

To relieve congestion and to maintain free flow of traffic in connection with the  “Pinkathon” 3K, 5K and 10K run around Hussainsagar on Sunday from 6 am to 8 am, Hyderabad police commissioner M Mahendar Reddy on Saturday issued orders imposing traffic restrictions.

HYDERABAD: To relieve congestion and to maintain free flow of traffic in connection with the  “Pinkathon” 3K, 5K and 10K run around Hussainsagar on Sunday from 6 am to 8 am, Hyderabad police commissioner M Mahendar Reddy on Saturday issued orders imposing traffic restrictions. 


The traffic coming from VV statue towards flyover and Necklace Rotary will be diverted at VV statue towards Shadan and Nirankari Bhavan.


Traffic coming from Telugu Talli will be diverted at helipad lane towards Mint-Khairatabad (Bada Ganesh). 


Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar going towards Upper Tank Bund will be diverted on Telugu Talli flyover at old gate of Secretariat, traffic coming from Liberty going towards upper Tank Bund will be diverted at GHMC office towards BRKR Bhavan, Telugu Talli, Iqbal Minar “U” Turn and on to Telugu Talli flyover.


Traffic from Karbala to Ambedkar statue via Tank Bund will be diverted at Children’s Park towards DBR Mills - Lower Tank Bund. Traffic coming from Nallagutta to Sanjeevaiah Park will be diverted at Nallgutta Junction towards Ranigunj cross road.


Police have requested public to avoid Tank Bund road, Necklace Road, NTR Marg and take alternative routes to reach their destination and cooperate with the traffic police.
