Hyderabad siblings arrested for chain snatching and burglaries

A 43-year-old habitual offender and his 17-year-old brother who were involved in chain snatching and house burglaries were nabbed by police on Monday.

HYDERABAD: A 43-year-old habitual offender and his 17-year-old brother who were involved in chain snatching and house burglaries were nabbed by police on Monday. Police also seized valuables worth Rs 5.81 lakh from the duo.

Police said, Mohammed Shareef, an auto driver, and his younger brother, as well as his four other brothers were involved in several cases of thefts and burglaries. Based on a tip-off, they were nabbed while moving under suspicious conditions under the limits of Choutuppal police station.
