Cherla police arrest four Maoists, seize 50 gelatin sticks

During questioning, the four confessed that they belong to Maoist party and working as couriers.

KOTHAGUDEM: The Cherla police during a routine vehicle checking caught four Maoists at R-Kothagudem crossroad and recovered 50 gelatin sticks, four bundles of silk wire, an eye testing kit, 27 pairs spectacle frames, 64 red glasses, 64 black glasses and one Glamour motorbike from them.

Police said that during vehicle checking at R-Kothagudem crossroad, they found four persons moving in a Glamour vehicle in suspicious circumstances. During questioning, the four confessed that they belong to Maoist party and working as couriers.

Arrested couriers are B Srinivas (31), a resident of Penogodu village, S Sanjeevi (34), resident of Srinivasanagar colony in Nalgonda town, M Ganapathi (30), former member of CP Chandrapullareddy Naxal group and resident of Odhitala village and Ch Hareesh (26), former member of CP Bata Naxal group.
