Two chain snatching incidents reported in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad and Rachakonda police have launched a joint operation to nab the culprits after two incidents of chain snatching were reported in the city on Friday.

According to police, the incidents occurred in Vanasthalipuram and Saidabad in which a total of five tola of gold was stolen from the victims. According to police, Narsamma (72), a resident of SBH Colony, runs a small grocery shop. At around 8.00 p.m. On Thursday, two persons came on a bike. The rider parked the bike at a distance, while the pillion approached the shop asking for bubble gum.
