Panel formed to ease travel of  Hyderabad Haj visitors

HYDERABAD: Thousands of Haj pilgrims travel to Mecca and Madina every year with private tour operators and travel agents. The private operators are allegedly not providing facilities or proper guidance for Umrah Pilgrims. All India Umrah Pilgrimage have formed a committee to give proper guidance and support for the Umrah pilgrims. The members conducted a meeting on Thursday in Hyderabad.

Speaking to Media persons, Gulam Subhani, chairman, All India Umrah Committee, said that the travel agents are committing frauds in Umrah pilgrims. The agents are not even arranging proper facilities. With that propose, the Umrah committee decided to form a special committee for Umrah Affairs in Saudi Arabia.  “We are requesting active social workers to join in Umrah committee for their support and help the Umrah pilgrims. We decided to conduct a seminar on July 2 and seminars will help for proper guidance and information on Umrah Pilgrimage, he added.
