HYDERABAD: The Town Planning wing of the Manikonda Municipality demolished six unauthorised structures and 10 floors of a building constructed without valid permission in Chitrapuri Colony on Friday. Developers and owners resisted the demolition drive and tried to obstruct the civic body officials.
Undeterred, the civic body officials went ahead with their task while the heavy deployment of police personnel ensured there was no untoward incident.Manikonda municipality officials told TNIE that the place where the illegal construction was under progress had been sealed as per the orders of the High Court.
