A rally aimed at spreading awareness on the law of the country, jointly organised by the Amrita School of Business, Kochi, and the Lawyers Arts and Recreation Club (LARC) of the Kerala High Court Advocates Association, will be held here on November 26.
The event titled ‘Asthra Road Rally’ will be flagged off by Justice V R Krishna Iyer near the Mahatama Gandhi Statue at Rajendra Maidan.
The rally will conclude on Kerala High Court premises where distinguished social and cultural personalities will receive the participants. It will be followed by an oath taking on law abidance. Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan will deliver the pledge. Ernakulam District Judge Hariprasad will speak on the challenges and problems faced by the legal system. The students pursuing various courses at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will take part in the rally. Boby Chemmanur, CEO of Chemmanur International Jewellers, Dr Prathapan Nair, principal, Amrita School of Medicine and Sunanda Muralidharan, chairperson, Amrita School of Business, Kochi, will attend.
