Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Thursday said that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) appointing Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) as the general consultant of the Kochi Metro Rail project will be signed at the next board meeting of the KMRL to be held in October.
Talking to reporters at the press meeting held here at the Emerging Kerala venue, the Chief Minister reiterated that the government is hopeful of completing the project within the stipulated time.
The Chief Minister also said that before the completion of the first phase, the preliminary steps for the second phase of the Kochi Metro rail project will be launched.
