The Kerala CBSE School Managements Association has decided to reassess the fee structure of the CBSE schools with the recent  judgment of the Kerala High Court to fix the salary on a temporary basis.

Welcoming the High Court judgment, a state meeting of the association held here has decided to demand the sum incurred to meet the expense of the management from the state government as per the court instruction.

The High Court had directed the government to pay the amount as the self-financing schools are taking up the responsibility of primary education, which is otherwise entrusted to the government in the constitution.

Secretary Indira Rajan presented the report and the meeting was presided by state president Ibrahim Khan.
