Webandcrafts Company turns one

Web solutions company Webandcrafts completed successful one year of operations at Infopark, Thrissur. The company celebrated its first anniversary in the presence of Hrishikesh Nair, CEO, Infopark and Arun Rajeevan, Deputy Manager - Marketing, Infopark.

Webandcrafts was started by 19-year-old Abin Jose in 2009 in Chennai and later, he moved the company to Infopark, Thrissur. Now, Abin holds the distinction of being the youngest CEO of a company in Kerala and in one year of its operations in Kerala, the company has grown into a venture with a turnover of `80 lakh and has successfully hosted over 2,500 websites for over 500 clients.

As part of the celebrations, Webandcrafts has decided to donate webserver space worth `10 lakh for free to non-profit organisations, charitable trusts and social welfare organisations to set up their websites, along with free service as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

“Through their success story, the company has proved that to be successful in the field of  Information Technology, one doesn’t need to necessarily have presence in a Tier-1 city. What matters primarily is the quality of work, which will get them business globally, irrespective of the location,” said Hrishikesh Nair.
