Muthoot Securities Ltd has entered into a tie up with UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Ltd to act as Income Tax PAN Service Centre.
The company will accept permanent account number (PAN) card application through all the branches of Muthoot Finance. The PAN card is being issued by the Indian Income Tax Department under the supervision of the Central Board for Direct Taxes (CBDT).
Through the new service, more people, particularly from the rural areas, can apply for new PAN cards, said George Alexander Muthoot, managing director of Muthoot Finance.
