Miss South India pageant on January 9

The 10th edition of Miss South India 2013, organised by Pegasus Event Makers will be held at Lulu Convention Centre, Thrissur,  on January 9.

The final event of the pageant is a three- and-a-half hour program with three sequences and cultural extravaganza directed by Ajith Ravi of Pegasus.

“A total of 16 contestants from four states will walk the ramp for the grand finale. The event would be judged by former Miss World first runner up Parvathy Omanakuttan, South Indian actor Babu Antony, former

Miss Kerala Ranjini Haridas, actors Nikitha Narayan and Aishwarya Devan, NRI fashion designer Sajimon Parayil and media personality Toshma Biju,” said Ravi at a press conference here on Saturday.

“The grooming sessions for the candidates by an expert panel of fashion choreographers and trainers have already begun at PJ Princess Residency, Vypeen. The sessions include yoga, meditation, cat walk, photo shoot, interaction, talent search and other  programmes which will help to develop the personality of the contestants,” Ravi said.

The winners would be be awarded a gold-plated crown and a cash prize of `1 lakh sponsored by Manappuram Group.
